The “editio regia,”  the third and most significant Estienne edition of the Greek New Testament and the first edition to contain a critical apparatus. After publishing this important edition (which was used by the King James Bible translators, among others), Robert Estienne left Paris and became an important printer in Calvin’s Geneva.

Treatment: Repair calf binding by securing front board. Repair corners and hinges. Mend frayed endbands. Reconstruct headcaps.  Construt new clamshell box with wrappers
